I just re-launched a site which makes buying websites much easier. There are over 20 sites on the web that you can visit to find websites for sale. My new project, SiteViper.com, simplified the process of finding attractive properties. The key features are:
- Consolidated Listings – from over 20 sources – including popular marketplaces and forums such as Flippa, NamePros, Godaddy, DNForum, AQDN, Websitebroker, and many others
- Site Research Tools – SiteViper gives you easy access to the traffic data from Compete, Quantcast, and Alexa, back link information from SEOMoz, and the history of the site from Google Cache and Archive.org.
A long time ago, I expressed an interest in the potential of the .CM namespace. I figured that a significant number of users accidentally entered whatever.cm into their browser instead of whatever.com and that there may be an opportunity to monetize the typo traffic.
In the .CM initial landrush domain bidding, I bid on five domain names. My
criteria for bidding was
1.) The .com version of the domain name had at least one million unique visitors per month from the US, based on Comscore data.
I am contemplating selling the following domain names. Please use the contact form to let me know if you are interested in any of these domain names.

One of the most popular posts on this blog was my initial post on .CM domain names. Things have changed since my initial post, and the domain names are now going to be opened up for auction. NameJet is administiring the initial landrush. Head over to their site to pre-order domain names.
Pre-orders end on July 31st, 2009. It is free to pre-order a domain name. From what I can tell, if multiple people pre-order a domain, it will be placed up for auction. I pre-ordered a bunch of names, and I will update you on how things turn out.
