Thanks Paul, much appreciated, and just like you said – very interesting article.

I’m not sure if I’ve decided for myself whether meta tags are really worthwhile, but seems to me that the AdSense bot respects them primarily because they’re trying to get some help from webmasters as to the content of pages. Just have to be careful because there’s also circumstantial evidence that GoogleBot penalizes sites for having keywords in their metatags that aren’t actually in page content, while its been pretty much proven that GoogleBot ignores keywords as far as determining PageRank goes.

The Adsense section targeting is definitely pretty damn cool, I was hoping they’d implement something like that.

What’s the link to Darren’s article? (or am I just not seeing it for some weird reason)

The Beautifier link has been dead all day. Is that a correct link?

I second the AdSense Deluxe recommendation – it’s great. It even keeps track of how many ads you are showing on a page so that you don’t exceed the 3-limit. The only trick is that you have to use it for all of your AdSense placements for that to work.

I’d like to try the Beautifer/image type thing and see if it helps me on any of my ads.
