Unfortunately i don’t have a success story but i will tell you my own experience with them.
In short, Adbrite ripped me off!!! I decided to give them a try and advertise my website in their marketplace and after i signed up and created my campaign then a while later i was trying to do some edits and i paused it but even though i did they kept charging my credit card for over 3 days after and i e-mailed their support million of times to get a refund with no use
Moreover, the quality of traffic they bring is useless cheap junk traffic.

Whether you are going to advertise in their marketplace or monetize your website traffic..Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

They can all work, its just learning how to work them. I have two sites and one is an EXTREMELY NICHE market. The other is a travel site and I need both adsense and adbrite.

Just a quick note…. I actually work at AdBrite. This is not my job to go look at blogs I was simply looking at adsense VS adbrite stuff and found this. I know this may sound redundant but WE know that we have things we can improve upon. We have actually launched a BETA with contextual matching of text ads and Pub pages… so we are working to improve relevance and performance for both Advertisers and Publishers. That being said can you name any other company that gives you as much transperancy into ads running on your sites or for advertisers which sites your ads have run on?

Any luck finding a suitable alternative? I currently have adbrite and adsense, and I have also noticed adbrite not grabbing as much visitor attention. I’m assuming it’s because AdBrite is not context-sensitive, and also because it displays ads that we’ve all seen hundreds of times before.

Actually I alredy register to adbrite and use the ad on my indonesian language base web site http://bookreviewdb.blogspot.com and combine with adsense. Is it ok to combine the ads?

I too am experimenting with AdBrite. I am facing many problems especially setting the AdBrite pricing for Text Ads on my site – their interface and software does not work as intended and is very puzzling.
